   In what could be described as a bizarre occurrence in the streets of India, a woman has allegedly chopped off the head of a man who tried to attack her. She  took the head and paraded it in a market in Makkpurva village ,in the South eastern province of Utta Pradesh . The woman was arrested after witnesses reported her to be displaying a blood socked head in a public place. The 35 year old woman had complained to the police that she had gone to a nearby forest to fetch grasses for her cattles when an unidentified man came from behind and attacked her.

   The woman claimed that her attacker wanted to forced her into sex but she had to protect her dignity by using a sickle to hit him on the head, claiming that the man had bitten her at the neck and cheek. The woman had also claimed that her attacker had been pestering her to have a relationship with her ,she had repelled her advances and she claimed that she had no regret killing him. The police had charged her with Homicide but the woman is confident that she would win the case. This is not the first time a similar occurrence is happening in India, there are several mysterious Homicide cases the India Police has failed to resolve in recent times. India presently has one of the highest rates of Homicides in Asia and authorities are doing their best to curtail the growing trend.
